Scrapwave Interference layers improvised recordings of rusted metal clangs and circuit board hums into abstract textures, punctuated by bursts of white noise and granular synthesis that defy rhythmic expectation. Unconventional structures emerge through non-linear splicing of field recordings and modular synth drones, fostering a disorienting sonic labyrinth. The piece builds to a resonant decay over 172 seconds, resolving in a haze of lingering overtones.
