Roots Reggae
About
This roots reggae anthem pulses with offbeat skanking guitars and a signature one-drop drum pattern, underpinned by a prominent bass groove that anchors the infectious rhythm. Reverb echoes and dub-style delays create a spacious, immersive soundscape, amplifying the spiritual call for unity and empowerment. Uplifting male vocals deliver heartfelt lyrics of healing and collective strength over sparse, echoey mixes.
Lyrics
Rise up, feel the light within Unity calls, let the healing begin
In the shadows where the weary roam Hearts heavy with the weight of the storm But a fire burns deep in the soul Whispers of hope make the broken whole We stand together, hands intertwined Chasing the dawn, leaving chains behind
One love, one heart, rising high Peace in our steps, touch the sky Empower the spirit, let it fly Unity's rhythm, never say goodbye
Through the trials, the rivers run deep Voices unite in a sacred keep Strength from the roots, growing tall No more falling, we answer the call Brothers and sisters, side by side In the glow of truth, we abide
One love, one heart, rising high Peace in our steps, touch the sky Empower the spirit, let it fly Unity's rhythm, never say goodbye
Feel the pulse of the eternal flame Wash away sorrow, reclaim your name No more division, no more pain In this circle, we break every chain
Rise... rise... one love... Peace... unity... feel it now...
One love, one heart, rising high Peace in our steps, touch the sky Empower the spirit, let it fly Unity's rhythm, never say goodbye
Rise up, feel the light within One love forever, let the healing begin
