Gospel
About
A soul-stirring Gospel anthem with commanding male lead vocals soaring over lush choral harmonies and call-and-response patterns, driven by pulsating organ, piano, tambourine, and handclaps. Dynamic builds from intimate verses to explosive choruses celebrate divine redemption and communal faith. Rhythmic percussion and layered testimonies create an empowering, worship-ready sound rooted in African American traditions.
Lyrics
Oh, rise up, children, let your voices soar His light is breaking through the night once more
In the shadows where my heart was lost and cold I cried out for mercy, for a love to hold Worn by trials that pulled me to the ground Your faithful promise turned my world around
Every burden lifted, every tear wiped dry Your endless grace became my battle cry From the depths of sorrow to the heights of joy Salvation found me, like a faithful boy
Praise You, God Almighty, King of endless days Hope is rising in Your holy praise Salvation's fire burns within my soul Forever grateful, You have made me whole Oh, praise You, praise You, let the heavens ring In Your redemption, freedom's what You bring
Now I stand with brothers, sisters hand in hand United in Your love across the land Faith like mountains, strong and unafraid Your word sustains us through the storms we've braved
Praise You, God Almighty, King of endless days Hope is rising in Your holy praise Salvation's fire burns within my soul Forever grateful, You have made me whole Oh, praise You, praise You, let the heavens ring In Your redemption, freedom's what You bring
No more wandering, no more chains that bind Your spirit calls me, peace I long to find Every knee will bow, every tongue confess In Your glory, Lord, we find our rest
Praise You higher, louder than before Salvation's victory, hope forevermore God of wonders, faithful through the fight We lift our voices into endless light Praise You, praise You, from the heart we sing Redemption's chorus, let all creation ring!
Oh, rise up, children, praise Him evermore His hope is living, forever we adore
