Da Rubab Naghma

About

A mesmerizing rubab lead weaves intricate melodic ornamentation and microtonal scales over syncopated strumming and drone strings, supported by precise tabla percussion rhythms. Captured in a live acoustic setting, the natural resonance of the rubab's body hits and string vibrations evokes the solemn Pashtun landscapes. The 129-second piece unfolds from meditative introspection to ethereal uplift.
