Chicago House
About
Raw Chicago House grooves with a relentless four-on-the-floor kick drum, offbeat hi-hats shuffling in classic Roland TR-909 style, and chugging piano chords stabbing through the mix. Deep rolling 808 bassline anchors the swing, while chopped vocal samples echo themes of ecstatic freedom and night-time sway. Lo-fi tape warmth and sparse reverb capture the intimate underground club energy of 1980s Chicago.
