Spirits Awaken Chant
Pate Ancestor Circle
Carolinian
About
Immersive Carolinian ceremonial track driven by call-and-response vocals between a leader and communal group, anchored by the resonant pulse of slit drums (pate) and layered polyrhythmic percussion from sticks and canoe drums. Acoustic ethnic sounds create a spiritual gathering vibe, with building chants evoking ocean waves, ancestral whispers, and unity in open-air rituals. Unamplified voices rise and fade in natural reverb, capturing the timeless traditions of the Northern Mariana Islands.
