Breaking Out Tonight
Backyard Howlers
Garage Rock
About
This garage rock anthem explodes with distorted guitars and fuzzy bass lines pulsing over simple driving drums, delivering a raw energetic vocal performance that screams youthful rebellion and midnight escapes. The DIY lo-fi production captures unpolished garage jam chaos, complete with tape hiss, instrument bleed, and gritty immediacy evoking 60s proto-punk vigor. High-energy riffs and driving rhythms make it a perfect rebel yell for late-night adventures.
Lyrics
Yeah, we're breaking out tonight Scream it loud, feel the fight
Woke up mad at the morning light Punching clocks, losing sight Parents' rules like rusty chains Pull us down in pouring rain Sneak out windows, hearts on fire Running wild, no looking higher Street corners call our name Defy the world, stake our claim
Rebels roaring through the dark Sparks ignite, we leave our mark Freedom's howl in every beat Crashing waves, we can't be beat Yeah, we're alive, we're unchained Nights like these, we'll never tame Rebels roaring, feel the spark Burn it down, light the dark
Backyard haze, summer sweat Whiskey laughs, no regrets Curfew breaks like shattered glass Loving hard, then watch it crash Echoes fade but fire stays Ghost of youth in rebel ways Simple thrills, we chase the high Under stars, we touch the sky
Rebels roaring through the dark Sparks ignite, we leave our mark Freedom's howl in every beat Crashing waves, we can't be beat Yeah, we're alive, we're unchained Nights like these, we'll never tame Rebels roaring, feel the spark Burn it down, light the dark
Rebels roaring, hear the call Stand up tall, we won't fall Freedom's howl, it's ours to keep Raw and real, running deep
Break it free
You and me
Scream it out
No doubt
Rebels roaring... fading slow But the fire... it always grows Yeah, we're gone but never lost Rebel hearts... at any cost
