Yesterday's Cathode Glow

About

This Vaporwave track weaves slowed samples from 1980s infomercials and pop snippets, drenched in heavy reverb and pitched-down audio to evoke a surreal haze of consumer nostalgia. Looped structures of vinyl crackle and chopped vocals create endless aisles of neon dreams and midnight mall wanderings, fading into a dreamy, ironic paradise of obsolete tech. Minimalist production builds with echoey builds and static kisses, capturing the eternal loop of credit card swipes and cathode ray glows.
