Children of the Promise Rise

In the quiet of the midnight hour When shadows fall so deep I heard a whisper from the heavens Calling out my name to keep Chains of yesterday were breaking Like rivers rushing free The Savior's light broke through the darkness Redeeming you and me Oh, rise up, children of the promise Let your voices soar Hallelujah in the storm His grace fuzz of our sorrow We're walking in redemption With the King who met Yes, He met Through the valleys of my wondering Where the tempest fiercely raged I testify to all the lost ones On this everlasting page Faith like a mustard seed was planted Now it's growing wild and true No more fear and tribulation For His blood has made us new Oh, rise up, children of the promise Let your voices soar Hallelujah in the storm His grace fuzz of our sorrow We're walking in redemption With the King who met Can you feel it in your spirit? Yes, Lord, we feel it now The power of His mercy Lifting us somehow From the grave to glory rising All men were rising high Testified to the name of the Lord His love will never die Now the choir of angels echoes In the river of our praise Every heartbeat sings of victory Through the endless fiery blaze No more slaves to sin's old master We're the heirs of heaven's throne We've found our way back home Oh, rise up, children of the promise Let your voices soar Hallelujah in the storm Oh, rise up, children of the promise Let your voices soar Hallelujah in the storm Hallelujah in the storm Hallelujah in the storm Oh, rise up, children of the promise Oh, rise up, children of the promise Let your voices soar Hallelujah in the storm
