Rise from Midnight's Chains

Chains of doubt and sorrow Wrapped to the heavy Oh, heavy with grief Chains of doubt and sorrow Or a wrath that shook my frame Yet his light broke through The thunder calling out my name Hallelujah, rise up, children of the King Redemption's river flowing, let your praises ring From the ashes of my brokenness, grace has set me free Testify to the glory, he's the victory Oh, singing from the rooftops, let the heavens hear Faith will move the mountains, cast away your fear Hallelujah, hallelujah, the Lord's got the power In his endless mercy, we bloom like a flower Once I was a wanderer, lost in sin's cruel tide Chasing empty promises with nowhere left to hide But the cross stood waiting But the cross stood waiting Now my testimony echoes through the congregation's call From death to life eternal, I've answered heaven's throne Hallelujah, rise up, children of the King Redemption's river flowing, let your praises ring From the ashes of my brokenness, grace has set me free Testify to the glory, he's the victory Oh, singing from the rooftops, let the heavens hear Faith will move the mountains, cast away your fear Hallelujah, hallelujah, the Lord's got the power In his endless mercy, we bloom like a flower Oh, can you feel it? Feel the spirit move Breaking every bondage Yes, the chains are loose Who's the rock that holds us? Jesus, have a truth Lift your voices higher Glory to renew No more tears in the wilderness No more nerves of dawn His love is the fire that carries us on Hallelujah, rise up, children of the King Redemption's river flowing, let your praises ring From the ashes of my brokenness, grace has set me free Testify to the glory, he's the victory Oh, singing from the rooftops, let the heavens hear Faith will move the mountains, cast away your fear Faith will move the mountains, cast away your fear Hallelujah, hallelujah, the Lord's got the power In his endless mercy, we bloom like a flower Hallelujah, testify, testify Forever we'll sing Redemption's song eternally
