Kantrum
A vibrant, high-energy folk music genre originating from the Khmer-influenced Surin and Buriram provinces of Thailand. Kantrum is defined by its rapid, syncopated polyrhythms, driving percussion, and the prominent, piercing melodies of the saw kantrum (fiddle).
