Getai (歌台) is a vibrant Singaporean stage performance genre held during the Hungry Ghost Festival. It fuses live singing, dance, comedy, and audience interaction on colorful outdoor stages. Performers deliver pop covers and originals in Hokkien, Cantonese, and Mandarin, backed by an energetic full band, theatrical skits, flashy lights, and call-and-response.
